The brief

A family roastery joining seasoned calm with fresh curiosity. The craft stood secure — gentle roasts, straight-talking farms, a faithful dawn crowd — yet the shelves spoke otherwise: half a decade of solo labels sharing no common touch.

What we made

We started where the coffee starts: the roast. Two weeks of tasting, watching the morning rush and arguing about brown. Out of it came a mark that pours — a single weight of lettering with a slow lean — and a colour system that wakes up with the drinker: parchment mornings, ember afternoons, midnight decaf.

Packaging carries the whole system: one bag architecture across twelve origins, with the roast curve printed on every back like a signature. Guidelines are one strict page and ten loose ones — built to survive contact with a real roastery.

Outcome

— They studied our mornings closely and gave the shelves a calmer voice. The bags finally belong to one another.
