Case N° 02 — 05
Hearthline
E-commerce · 2024 · Furniture label, Copenhagen
The brief
Hearthline makes furniture that does not fidget — heavy oak, honest joints, ten-year guarantees. Their old store fidgeted constantly: pop-ups over pop-ups, a carousel for everything, checkout in five anxious steps.
What we made
One rule governed the whole build: the products sit still, everything else glides. Product pages hold a calm, full-bleed frame while the interface moves around them — filters that crossfade, a cart that slides rather than shouts, delivery dates set in the same serif as the wordmark.
Designed and built by the same eight people in eleven weeks. The site weighs less than the product photography it carries, and the checkout takes two steps instead of five.
Outcome
— They stayed with the detail until the shop felt settled. Ordering now reads the way our furniture sits.
